About PageThis page may be similar to the Issue Background page. You will probably pick one or the other. While the Issue page might have much more focused information, the About page might contain a variety of information including contact information and a FAQs section.
ResourcesThis page can provide your users with a variety of resources that will be useful to them as they pursue action with your cause or similar causes. This page might include links to other organizations, local government representatives, activities, lesson plans, and web tools.
MissionThis information might appear on the home page or about page. You could also create an individual page to explain the mission of the organization. You could include long and short term goals and your plans for achieving those goals. You might also include a mission statement.
Issue Background InfoYou might want to dedicate an entire page to providing information about the cause, the events leading up to its creation, and your role in creating the cause. Why is this cause necessary? Who will it help? What are the goals of the cause? How will these goals be accomplished?
Progress/UpdatesThis might be a page that gets added later, after you have done significant work on your project. This page is where you can report back to users about the progress of the cause. What goals are being met? What events have taken place? What people have gotten involved? What happens next?
Meet the TeamIf you are working with a team of people to make this cause a movement, you might want to provide images of the team as well as brief bios. What role does each person play in this movement? Can these people be contacted directly? What other projects does the team work on?
PartnersIf you are working closely with other organizations or if other organizations are sponsoring your efforts, you can highlight their commitment to the issue and to your cause in particular. You can provide links to sponsors' webpages and provide users with more information about them.
Take ActionProvide your users with a variety of ways to get involved in your cause. Are there petitions they can sign? Are there events they can attend? Are there things they can do at home to help the cause? Help your cause by helping your users to get involved with little effort on their part.
Share Your StoryYou can invite users to share their stories related to your cause/ organization. This page can serve as a way to establish a sense of community among your users and encourage the users themselves to engage with each other and the cause/organization.
Communicating Your MessageYou want your message to reach your audience. Make sure your writing is clear, concise, and compelling. Proofread for grammatical and spelling errors. Chunk your writing to keep readers interested.
HomeworkYou already have a homepage and a blog page, which you completed in earlier homework assignments. Now, it is time to create the remaining 3 pages. Remember, you are welcome to do more; however, I will only be grading 5 of your sections.
